~Rescue~

We are not a bird and parrot rescue, nor are we affiliated with any rescue or organization.

We do not offer to take your bird into our home, nor do we offer to buy your bird.

What we can do is put you in touch with bird rescues. We can also put you in touch with people who can provide a long term, bird-friendly home. We do have a few foster homes in place that can provide temporary, [or long term in some cases] nuturing shelter for your bird in the event that you can no longer keep him or her. These homes and families would be people that we know well enough to assure you that your bird will be well taken care of.

On occasion we have taken birds into our own home. But since we have our own flock and raise and sell birds, we have to be very careful of what enters our home, especially when we do not know your birds' background. Our concern has to do with disease.

In the event that we match you with someone who has contacted us about wanting a bird, but can not necessarily afford the big price tag, it is your responsibility to screen those people and work out the details. Once we have introduced you to them, we are no longer involved unless there are questions about general care.

Please feel free to contact us if you have a bird or parrot in need of a new home. There is no judgement involved as we do know that parrots are a big responsibility and life changes and stresses happen.

We will ask you to give us as much information as you can about the bird/parrot.
